Unzip Files in cPanel File Manager

You can use cPanel File Manager to extract uploaded archive files, such as .zip files.

This is useful if you have uploaded a compressed website folder and want to unpack it on the hosting account.

To unzip a file:

1. Log in to the 4UHosting client area at https://clients.4uhosting.co.uk.
2. Choose My Services.
3. Find the hosting service and select Manage.
4. Select Login to cPanel from the left side.
5. Open File Manager.
6. Browse to the folder containing the archive file.
7. Select the file you want to unzip.
8. Choose Extract.
9. Confirm where the files should be extracted.
10. Select Extract Files.

Check the extracted files afterwards to make sure they are in the correct folder.

If you are extracting website files, make sure they are placed in the correct document root, such as public_html for the main website.
