If you have just registered a domain, it may not show a website straight away.
If You Registered the Domain Only
If you registered the domain name but did not buy hosting for it, there may be no website to display.
You will need to add hosting, connect the domain to an existing hosting service, or point the domain to another website before it can show content.
If You Have Hosting for the Domain
Allow at least 24 hours after registration for the domain to start working properly across the internet.
DNS changes can take time to update, so the domain may work for some people before it works for others.
If You Transferred the Domain to 4UHosting
Check that the domain is using the correct 4UHosting nameservers.
If the domain does not have hosting with us, but you want to use our DNS service to point the domain, use:
- green1.4uh.net
- green2.4uh.net
- green3.4uh.net
- green4.4uh.net
If the domain has a hosting plan with us, use:
- blue1.4uh.net
- blue2.4uh.net
- blue3.4uh.net
- blue4.4uh.net
If the domain is using different nameservers, it may still be pointing to the previous provider.
If the Domain Still Does Not Work
- Check that the domain registration or transfer has completed.
- Check that the domain is using the correct nameservers.
- Check that the domain has been added to the correct hosting account.
- Wait for DNS propagation if the nameservers were changed recently.
- Open a support ticket if you are still unsure.
