How to Manage Images in cPanel

Create Image Thumbnails

  1. Go to Files > Images.
  2. Click Thumbnailer.
  3. Open the folder that contains the images.
  4. Choose the image scale.
  5. Click Thumbnail Images.

Resize an Image

  1. Go to Files > Images.
  2. Click Scaler.

  2. Click the image.
  3. Enter the new dimensions or percentage.
  4. Click Scale Image.

Convert an Image Format

  1. Go to Files > Images.
  2. Click Converter.

  1. Open the folder that contains the image.
  2. Select the image or folder.
  3. Choose the new file type.
  4. Click Convert.

Notes

  • Keep a copy of the original image before resizing or converting it.
  • Large images can slow down a website.
  • File Manager is better for uploading, moving, or deleting image files.
