How to Manage Email Encryption Keys in cPanel

Create a New Key

  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Go to Email > Encryption.
  3. Enter your name.
  4. Enter the email address for the key.
  5. Add a comment or nickname if needed.
  6. Enter a secure key password.
  7. Choose the key size and expiry date if needed.
  8. Click Generate Key.

Import a Key

  1. Go to Email > Encryption.
  2. Find Import Key.
  3. Paste the public or private key into the text box.
  4. Click Import.

View a Key

  1. Go to Email > Encryption.
  2. Find the key in the list.
  3. Click View.

Delete a Key

  1. Go to Email > Encryption.
  2. Find the key in the list.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Notes

  • Keep private keys and key passwords secure.
  • Do not delete a private key unless you are sure you no longer need it.
