How to Manage Apache Handlers in cPanel

Open Apache Handlers

1. Go to Advanced > Apache Handlers.
2. Review the existing handlers.

Add an Apache Handler

1. Enter the handler name.
2. Enter the file extension without the dot.

3. Click Add.

Remove an Apache Handler

1. Find the handler in the list.
2. Click Delete.
3. Confirm the removal.

Notes

• Only add handlers if you know the exact handler and file extension needed.
• Incorrect handlers can stop files from loading properly.
• If you are unsure, ask support before changing this setting.
