Softaculous lets you install WordPress from inside cPanel without uploading WordPress files manually or creating the database yourself.
To install WordPress:
- Log in to the client area at https://clients.4uhosting.co.uk.
- Choose My Services.
- Find the hosting service and select Manage.
- Select Login to cPanel from the left side.
- In cPanel, open Softaculous Apps Installer.
- Choose WordPress.
- Select Install.
- Choose the domain you want to install WordPress on.
- Leave the directory field empty if you want WordPress to load from the main domain.
- Enter the site name, site description, admin username, admin password and admin email address.
- Check the remaining settings, then select Install.
If you enter a folder name in the directory field, WordPress will install in that folder instead. For example, entering blog would install WordPress at yourdomain.co.uk/blog.
Keep a note of the WordPress admin username and password you choose during the installation. You will need them to log in to the WordPress dashboard after the installation has finished.
