If images are not showing on your website, the browser may not be able to find or read the image files.
Check the Image Has Been Uploaded
Make sure the image file has been uploaded to the correct folder.
If your page loads an image from an images folder, the image must be inside that folder on the server.
Check the Image Path
The image path in your page must match the real location of the file.
For example, if the image is called photo.gif and is inside an images folder, the path should point to:
images/photo.gif
Check Uppercase and Lowercase Letters
Linux servers are case sensitive.
This means Photo.gif and photo.gif are different filenames.
Check that the filename in your page exactly matches the uploaded file.
Check File Permissions
Image files normally need permissions of 644 so visitors can view them.
If the permissions are wrong, change them in cPanel File Manager.
Check Rewrite Rules
If you use rewrite rules in an .htaccess file, a mistake in the rule can stop images from loading.
Temporarily disable the rule to test whether it is causing the problem.
If You Use WordPress or Another Web Application
If the images are managed by WordPress, Joomla, or another application, the issue may be caused by the application, theme, plugin, cache, or media settings.
Check the application settings first, then contact support if you still need help.
