How to Download Raw Access Logs in cPanel

Open Raw Access

1. Go to Metrics > Raw Access.
2. Review the available log downloads.

Download the Current Raw Access Log

1. Find the domain.
2. Click the domain name or download link.
3. Save the compressed log file to your computer.
4. Extract the file before opening it.

Download Archived Logs

1. Scroll to the archived logs section.
2. Click the archive you want.
3. Save the file to your computer.

Change Raw Access Log Settings

1. Choose whether cPanel should archive logs at the end of each month.
2. Choose whether cPanel should remove the previous month’s archived logs.
3. Click Save.

Notes

• Raw logs are useful for deeper traffic checks.
• Log files can be large.
• Use Visitors or AWStats if you only need a quick summary.
