Domain contact details are not always the same as the 4UHosting account holder details.
The account holder is the person or business responsible for the 4UHosting account. Domain contact details are the registrant or contact details held for a specific domain name.
Depending on the domain extension, a domain may have different contact types, such as registrant, admin, technical or billing contacts. Some registries use fewer contact types and UK domains work differently from many generic domains.
To check or update domain contact details:
- Log in to the client area at https://clients.4uhosting.co.uk.
- Choose Domains.
- Find the domain and select Manage.
- Open Contact Information or the contact option shown for that domain.
Keeping domain contact details accurate is important. They may be used for ownership checks, transfer requests or registry notices.
This is different from adding an account contact in the client area. Account contacts help another person access or manage parts of your 4UHosting account.
