Disable Comments on Old Posts in WordPress

WordPress can automatically close comments on older posts. This can help reduce comment spam on older content.

To close comments after a set number of days:

1. Log in to your WordPress admin area.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Discussion.
4. Find Other comment settings.
5. Tick Automatically close comments on posts older than.
6. Enter the number of days you want to allow comments for.
7. Select Save Changes.

This setting affects posts once they are older than the number of days you choose. It does not delete existing comments.
