Common Server Ports

  • 993: Secure IMAP
  • 995: Secure POP3

You should only open ports that are actually needed. Leaving unnecessary services exposed can create security risks.

If you are using shared hosting, you normally do not need to manage server ports yourself. If you are using a managed cloud server and need a port reviewed, contact support.
