How to Change Your cPanel Password

Open Password and Security

  1. Go to Preferences > Password & Security.
  2. Enter your current password.

Change the Password

  1. Enter the new password.
  2. Confirm the new password.
  3. Use the password strength meter to check the password.
  4. Click Change your password now.

Notes

  • Use a strong, unique password.
  • Changing the cPanel password may also affect related services that use the same account password.
  • Store the new password somewhere secure.
