Changing your WordPress theme changes the design and layout of your website.<\/p>\n

Before changing theme, it is sensible to make sure you have a recent backup. A new theme can alter menus, widgets, page layouts and other display settings.<\/p>\n

To change your active theme:<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin area.<\/li>\n
  2. Go to Appearance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select Themes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Find the theme you want to use.<\/li>\n
  5. Select Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If the theme is not installed yet:<\/p>\n

    1. Go to Appearance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Select Themes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Select Add New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Search for the theme you want.<\/li>\n
    5. Select Install<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    6. Select Activate<\/strong> when you are ready to use it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
