SSH access is disabled by default on hosting accounts.<\/p>\n

If you need SSH access, contact support and explain why you need it.<\/p>\n

Request SSH Access<\/h2>\n

  1. Open a support ticket.<\/li>\n
  2. Tell us which hosting account needs SSH access.<\/li>\n
  3. Explain what you need SSH access for.<\/li>\n
  4. Wait for us to review the request.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    VPN Tunnel Requirement<\/h2>\n

    If SSH access is enabled on your account, you will also need to use a VPN tunnel that we provide.<\/p>\n

    Contact support to arrange the VPN tunnel before trying to connect by SSH.<\/p>\n

    Temporary Access<\/h2>\n

    SSH access is normally granted on a temporary basis.<\/p>\n

    When you have completed the task, let us know so we can disable the access again.<\/p>\n
