You may need to unlock a domain before transferring it to another provider.<\/p>\n

Unlock the Domain<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Log in to your 4UHosting customer account.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the Domains<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the domain you want to unlock.<\/li>\n
  4. Open the domain management page.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Registrar Lock<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Disable Registrar Lock<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Before You Transfer the Domain<\/h2>\n

    • Make sure the registrant email address is correct.<\/li>\n
    • Get the EPP code if the new provider asks for one.<\/li>\n
    • Check that the domain is not expired.<\/li>\n
    • Keep a copy of any DNS records you may need after the transfer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If You Cannot Unlock the Domain<\/h2>\n

      Open a support ticket and tell us which domain you want to unlock.<\/p>\n
