Add a Redirect<\/h2>\n

  1. Go to Domains > Redirects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Choose Permanent (301)<\/strong> or Temporary (302)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Choose the domain.<\/li>\n
  4. Enter the page or folder path if only part of the site should redirect.<\/li>\n
  5. Enter the full destination URL in Redirects to<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Choose how cPanel should handle www<\/code>.<\/li>\n
  7. Tick Wild Card Redirect<\/strong> only if every matching file should redirect to the same filename at the new location.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Test a Redirect<\/h2>\n

      1. Go to Domains > Redirects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. Find the redirect in Current Redirects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Click the source URL.<\/li>\n
      4. Check that the browser opens the correct destination.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Delete a Redirect<\/h2>\n

        1. Go to Domains > Redirects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        2. Find the redirect in Current Redirects<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Click Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        4. Confirm the deletion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          • cPanel redirects are added to the site’s .htaccess<\/code> file.<\/li>\n
          • You cannot edit an existing redirect. Delete it and create a new one.<\/li>\n
