Open Your Website Files<\/h2>\n

  1. Go to Files > File Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Open public_html<\/code>.<\/li>\n
  3. Open the folder for the website or domain you want to edit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Upload a File<\/h2>\n

    1. Open the folder where the file should go.<\/li>\n
    2. Click Upload<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Click Select File<\/strong> or drag the file into the upload area.<\/li>\n
    4. Wait until the upload reaches 100%.<\/li>\n
    5. Click Go Back<\/strong> to return to File Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Create a New File or Folder<\/h2>\n

      1. Open the folder where the new item should go.<\/li>\n
      2. Click + File<\/strong> or + Folder<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Enter the name.<\/li>\n
      4. Confirm the location.<\/li>\n
      5. Click Create New File<\/strong> or Create New Folder<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Edit a File<\/h2>\n

        1. Select the file.<\/li>\n
        2. Click Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Confirm the character encoding if cPanel asks.<\/li>\n
        4. Make your changes.<\/li>\n
        5. Click Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        6. Click Close<\/strong> when you are finished.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Rename a File or Folder<\/h2>\n

          1. Select the item.<\/li>\n
          2. Click Rename<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          3. Enter the new name.<\/li>\n
          4. Click Rename File<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Move or Copy Files<\/h2>\n

            1. Select the file or folder.<\/li>\n
            2. Click Move<\/strong> or Copy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
            3. Enter the destination path.<\/li>\n
            4. Click Move File(s)<\/strong> or Copy File(s)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Delete a File or Folder<\/h2>\n

              1. Select the item.<\/li>\n
              2. Click Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
              3. Choose whether to skip the trash if that option appears.<\/li>\n
              4. Click Confirm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Restore a Deleted File<\/h2>\n

                1. Click View Trash<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                2. Select the file or folder.<\/li>\n
                3. Click Restore<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
                4. Confirm the restore.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
