I'm Receiving Delivery Failures for Messages I Didn't Send

If you have suddenly started receiving delivery failure emails from people you didn't send any Email to, it mostly likely means that your Email account password has been compromised and a spammer is using your Email address to send spam. The first thing you should do is to change your Email account password as soon as possible. This will prevent them from logging in. You should also contact our support department so that we can check the server logs. Your password can be cracked by a brute force login attack if it is particularly weak. In some cases, you might receive delivery failures from mail that has had the headers "spoofed". Ths means that your account didn't send out any spam, but a spammer sent out some unsolicited Email with your Email address as the return address, so you are receiving the delivery failure messages for mail that was sent from a completey different and unrelated Emai account. Unfortunately without examining the Email headers there is no easy way for you to determine whether the delivery failures are from your account or not - so it is still best to change your password and contact us immediately.
