SMTP Authentication Apple Mail

To enable SMTP authentication in Apple Mac Mail, please take the following steps...

1. Open Apple Mail and click Mail  > Preferences.
2. From  the Accounts tab, select your Email account.
3. Click Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) on the right side and select Edit SMTP Server List.
4. At the top, select your mail server. This will either be mail.yourdomain (where "yourdomain" is your own domain), or it will be your server's hostname xxx.4uh.net. Click it once to hilight it.
5. Click the Advanced tab. Set Authentication to Password
6. Enter your Email address and password for your Email account.
7. Click OK
