Email Settings - Apple iPhone

If you have an iPhone, you can use it to send and receive email from your UK Web Hosting account. The tutorials in this article will show you how to add and remove accounts, set up access to Gmail or Yahoo addresses and of course connecting to standard POP or IMAP Email accounts via our system.

This article assumes that you have taken note of your Email server and account login details. It also assumes that you have already created your Email account from your cPanel interface. You can find details on how to add an email account and the settings to use at the following links...

Basic Email Configuration

If you don't have flash and can't view the articles above, please see the following info to set up a basic IMAP account on your iPhone...

  1. Open your Settings application.
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Other.
  5. Tap Add Mail Account.
  6. Enter the Name you want to use in the "From" title on your Emails.
  7. Enter your full email user@yourdomain.com and your password.
  8. Select IMAP.
  9. Section Incoming mail server
    1. Enter your incoming mail server in the hostname box.
    2. Enter your email address in the username box.
    3. Enter your password for the Email account.
  10. Section Outgoing mail server
    1. Enter your incoming mail server in the hostname box.
      (or your server host name or server's IP address)
    2. Enter your email address in the username box.
    3. Enter your password for the Email account.
